Jason is a graduate of the Landing School’s Systems program.  He started at KPYY as a service technician many years ago, but given his affinity for customer service, he is in charge of moorings and storage.  Jason’s office is in Kittery, but he manages storage for both facilities.  He is also our in-house representative for AB Inflatables.  When Jason can get away, he spends much of his free time sailing his J24 or aboard the schooner Stephen Taber in Rockland.

Bob Leahy, Customer Service Manager

After graduating from Suffolk University in Boston, Bob spent over 30 years as a consultant in the financial services industry.   While raising his family in Cohasset and Marblehead, MA, Bob has been a boat owner for over forty years, including power and sail boats both large and small.  Combining his extensive customer service and project management background with his lifelong passion and association with the ocean, boat ownership, competitive sailboat racing, and cruising, Bob brings a unique perspective to the Customer Service Manager role here at KPYY.  When not at the Eliot or Kittery yards, Bob can be found cruising and fishing in the waters off Portsmouth, NH and Kittery, ME or sailing in Marblehead, MA.  Bob lives in Portsmouth, NH with his wife, Susie.

Marshall Farnham, Project Manager
207-439-3967 x104

Marshall is a graduate of Chapman’s School of Seamanship where he completed the Yacht and Small Craft Surveying program.  He started his career as a commercial lobsterman, working as a boatbuilder during the off seasons.  Marshall has worked here at KPYY for over six years as a technician and is now transitioning into a Project Manager role for our Cosmetic and Boatbuilding departments.  During Marshall’s free time, he enjoys following the Lobster Boat Racing circuit along the Maine Coast.

Jennifer Anderson, Parts Manager
207-439-3967 x103

Growing up on the coast of Maine, boats and the ocean have always played a big part in Jen’s life.  With lighthouse keepers, Boston Harbor Pilots, fishermen and boat captains in her family, there’s no question why working at KPYY is a natural fit for her.  Jen enjoys the challenges and fast pace of the parts department as well as her interactions with customers. In her free time, Jen enjoys hosting impromptu lobster bakes and spending time with her husband on their boat.

Tara Silber, Office Manager
207-439-9582 x200

Tara is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy.  While in school, Tara spent a month traveling New England with Rozalia Project, a marine conservation group whose home base is at KPYY.  Following graduation, she traveled cross country to work as an Environmental Education Ranger at a national park in Oregon.  Tara has served in many customer service positions and couldn’t be happier to be working here in Back Channel.  If you catch her with some free time, you’ll likely find her running around looking for sea critters, camera in hand.

Christine Jurgielewicz, Administrative Assistant
207-439-3967 x102

A native New Yorker, Christine grew up swimming, boating and beach combing on the Long Island Sound, raising her two children and sharing her love of the water with them on the south shore, alongside the Moriches Bay.  After her move to Maine in 2011 and several years in hospitality & customer service, Christine was happy to join the KPYY team in 2019.  In her free time, Christine can be found at the beach, near the river with her dog, or traveling to NY to visit her children.

Tom Allen, President
207-439-9582 x211

An Ohio native, Tom grew up on the shores of Lake Erie.  After graduating from the University of Denver with a degree in business and finance he moved to the shores of New England.  After an 18-year career in the finance industry, Tom made the move into the marine trades with his acquisition of Dion’s Yacht Yard in Kittery in 2004.  He actively serves as a member of the Program Advisory Committee for the Landing School, a marine focused and accredited trade school recently rated the top community college in Maine.   Tom was a prior board member and Treasurer for the Maine Marine Trades Association whose mission is to promote responsible growth within the industry through education, career path development, and implementation of best industry practices.
